Thread Title : need help with title of old ad&d book

Hey, I remeber seeing an book years ago that had stats for a lot of forgotten realm heroes such as, drizzt, eliminster, the simbus and others it was a second edition book and I'd like to try and hunt it down, but for the life of me I can't remember the title, I also remember seeing one for villains and it had artimis enteri in it, if any one could tell me title of either of those books I'd be very grateful.

I think the one for the villains was called the "Villains lorebook" or something like that. Free download from Wizards: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/2/fr_downloads/tsr9552.zip

The one with the heroes is called the "Heroes' lorebook", but that one isn't a free download...

I think you're thinking of Hall of Heroes (FR7).

FR7 was the old (1st Edition AD&D) book that detailed heroes & villians.

Statistics and details for 2nd Edition AD&D were detailed in two books: "Heroes Lorebook" and "Villains Lorebook".

Both can be had on eBay, and if you're lucky, for a decent price.

The one you'd likely want is the Villains book, as I can't recall if Artemis' stats are in FR7 (and if they are, they'd be 1st ed, so you'd have to do some work to make it 2nd ed compatible).
