It's was a humanoid of man size. It had white eye ans claws. It's two claws did 1d12 of damage. No magical weapon were needed to damage it. We think it could read scrolls like a thief or something. It had a movement of 24 (it was very quick on a potion of haste). Maybe, big maybe, it could climb walls or use spider climb. It was not from the lower planes (big maybe). It was used has a assassin that used a bow and arrows to attack us. Very stealthy. Well that is what we could remember. We never knew its name and never killed it. Tried to kill us for a moment, and then, maybe the contract was lifted, he stopped. Are DM isn't around anymore to anwser the question. Thanks you. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Agathokles Date : 03-15-07 07:55 AM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster Well that is what we could remember. The description is not very telling -- apart from the claws, it could well be a human thief... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : goldomark Date : 03-15-07 11:25 AM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster I know. But it should be in one of the planescpe monstre compendium. Thanks anyway. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Agathokles Date : 03-15-07 01:32 PM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster I know. It could have been a Cambion, but cambions don't have claw attacks... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : oralpain Date : 03-15-07 01:44 PM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster Nor do Culpriach. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : Arcanda Date : 03-15-07 06:21 PM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster I think your monster could be a Doppleganger. Dopplegangers are a classical 1d12 damaging monster and are excellent assassins, since they are able to shapechange nd it is hard to defend against someone you can't know. They could use weapons. The MC picture show a specimen with white eyes. Doppleganger is not a true Planecape monster, but he could planetravel as anyone! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : goldomark Date : 03-16-07 03:16 AM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster I guess it could be a doppleganguer. Anyway, thanks every one :) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 8] Author : goldomark Date : 03-19-07 01:22 AM Thread Title : Re: Identifying a 2nd planescape monster Its was a GREATER doppleganger. Indeed not a planar race, but a well travel one. Thank you again. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:21 AM.
