I've just got hold of a second-hand copy of the first edition adventure Vault of the drow. It only has one card sleeve with the front and back cover on one side, and the hex map of the vault on the other side. Should there be another card sleeve with further maps on it? It feels as if there should be more maps, as there is with the Giant adventures, Descent into the depths of the earth, and Queen of the demonweb pits? A long question for a simple yes or no answer, but it feels like I've been ripped off. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : SamualT Barronsword Date : 03-24-07 04:52 PM Thread Title : Re: Vault of the drow Simple answer, no. Not another card sleeve with maps on it, but in the module itself you should find some maps between page 14 and 15. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : GoriceXII Date : 03-25-07 04:33 AM Thread Title : Re: Vault of the drow Yeah...mapwise it kinda sucked. You might want to borrow maps from other modules to flesh it out. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Akagi Date : 03-26-07 10:32 AM Thread Title : Re: Vault of the drow Thanks for the info. There were additional black and white maps within the module. It was a bit underwhelming to find the lack of detail with this adventure, but it's good to know I wasn't ripped off. Ah well, it's back to the old imagination, pencil, hex paper, and hours of frustrated scribblings. I hope my players appreciate the effort I put into these games! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : dontheox Date : 03-27-07 04:13 PM Thread Title : Re: Vault of the drow Thanks for the info. If you already have Descent into the Depths of the Earth you can use the large hex map that comes with that module. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : Treymordin Date : 03-28-07 08:03 AM Thread Title : Re: Vault of the drow 1st edition module, for the most part, did not have good maps. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:15 AM.
