Particulary, I'm looking for costs or methods. Other similar unusual weapon materials would also be welcome. If the information is in 3.x or another source, I would be interested in it secondarily. Thanks. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Vampirelord Date : 04-04-07 03:40 PM Thread Title : Re: Unusual Weapon Materials Well, the 2nd DMG has info on making armors of different materials, I don't see why that can't be used with weapons or any kind of item. So there you have a start at least. For the rest, I don't think there is any material that covers this, you will just have to make it up, maybe the cost and making varies from campaign to campaign. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 3] Author : Wyrmbane Date : 04-06-07 09:13 PM Thread Title : Re: Unusual Weapon Materials Check out Volo's Guide To All Things Magical. Gives some good info on this stuff. Also, I think either High Level Campaigns or Skills and Powers had something on this. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Vampirelord Date : 04-07-07 04:13 AM Thread Title : Re: Unusual Weapon Materials Well, I don't know about Skills and Powers, but High-Level Campaigns has indeed info on making magical items, but I'm not sure it's for unusual metals. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : Arcanda Date : 04-07-07 12:59 PM Thread Title : Re: Unusual Weapon Materials This table is in AD&D 2ed TSR 2504 Red Steel Material Cost Weight Damage Attack Steel 100% 100% - - Glassteel 600% 60% - - Red steel 1000% 50% - - Bone 30% 60% -1 -1 Stone 60% 76% -1 -2 Wood 10% 60% -2 -3 Advantages of glassteel and red steel are less weight and red steel is easier to enchant, but you have no damage or attack bonus per se. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:16 AM.
