The poem you'll see below is from Edna St. Vincent Millay, but I have put Roald Dahl's name next to it. Sound confusing? The version below is the one that Roald Dahl used as his personal creed for his writing career. There were many aspects of storytelling that Dahl espoused that I'm more than happy to follow, hence the reason why I quote his name next to the poem. One of his rituals, which I have mentioned before, was to take all of his notes down to his shed at the end of each week and burn them in a bonfire, sitting by the flames and ruminating on the week's progress, seekign further inspriation. I've often thought of doing the same with my gaming notes.... Anyhow, now the record is set straight. On a positive note, I am greatly impressed by the level of knowledge here. It's so hard to find people with a classical education nowadays..:D -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : GoriceXII Date : 04-15-07 08:41 AM Thread Title : Re: My sig That's a nice little bit of verse. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 08:15 AM.
