I'm planning on running a game online, using the OpenRPG (http://www.OpenRPG.com/) software. It won't start for some time (at least a month), but my intentions are to run WotI, mixed with several different classic modules. Great oportunity for nostalgic players... or people who want their kids to enjoy the same type of games we all (almost) grew up with. I love teaching newbies how to GAME (as opposed to meta-/power-game). If there's any interest let me know... A four hour stint on a computer would be a hell of a long time (going on the fact that a typical tabletop session lasts for 4 hours (ish)). This game was originally concieved as a playtest for my Mystara d20 conversion, but I couldn't get enough players to log on on a regular basis. Since my conversion is still in-process, I've decided to wait on playtesting for a while, and just play for the fun of it. The original schedule was 6-10pm eastern time every Thursday, but a new time can be determined for new players. The rules I've chosen to use--BECMI/RC with the following options: *Ability Score generation--TBD *General Skills *Weapon Mastery *Saves modified by Ability Scores (RC 266) *No Common or Alignment Languages, Common will be regionally based (normally Thyatian) *Darokinian & Glantrian are dialects of Thyatian--not seperate languages *MU gets "Magescript", Thieves get "Thieves' Cant", and Druids get "Druidic" languages for free. *All GAZ classes, and many HW classes (Elven Fighter, etc) are available. *Any d20/3e class/race combinations you want to play, talk to me ahead of time, and I'll see if I can't come up with a suitable GAZ type class option. *Paladin/Avenger/Druid have the option of starting at 1st level or switching over after 9th. *L-C alignment axis only--G-E will be assumed (PC's and allies=good, enemies=evil, all others=neutral) All the above options are subject to change up to start-time without notice... and anytime thereafter with notice.
