Thread Title : Classic D&D character generators

As the title suggests, I'm wondering if there are any nice utilities out there for classic character generation. I suppose I'm mostly looking for OD&D.

I do believe the original "Dungeon Master's Assistant" is available as abadonware on the internet. It's still a great utility for 1st edition campaigns. I only wish that I still had the original media the software came on.

It is, but the problem is actually finding a legitimate site to download abandonware from. No such luck yet...

It is, but the problem is actually finding a legitimate site to download abandonware from.Not surprising -- except for a few cases which don't apply here, that's a contradiction in terms.  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abandonware
