Quick question- I noticed the Savage Coast PDF files that Shawn put up on the Vaults recently (March of this year). Has anyone else tried to open them? I just tried today at work, and I got a "bad encrypt" notice and they wouldn't open. It may just be my work computer (I'll try again at home in a bit), but I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problems?

Oh, that's aia's pdf version for the SC books (that are great BTW)

Yeah- they work okay on my home PC. Must just be the piece of crap they have me using at work.

It's the version of Acrobat you're using -- these PDFs won't work on old versions of Acrobat, due to some encryption features that are interpreted oddly.

Looking at the document properties they're only openable by version 7 of Acrobat Reader and later.  Should I see if the author can make them accessible in an earlier version?

I think Acrobat 6 produces PDF 1.5, which should be fully understood by most readers.
