Has any of this work been collected into a pdf or doc file? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 2] Author : Gazza555 Date : 05-31-07 11:15 AM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? Well there's a series of Fan-made Gazetteers. Check out this (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=8570339&postcount=1) link. There are also some other pdf's on the Vaults of Pandius (http://www.pandius.com) site, which you should be able to find with the search option. I'm not sure which work you are referencing in particular, but if you mean works on this forum in general, you should definitely check out the Vaults of Pandius (http://www.pandius.com/). It compiles work done here as well as on the MML or submitted directly to the site. You can consider it the 'soul' of the Mystara community! [EDIT] I see Gary beat me to it. I'll just call it confirmation! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 4] Author : Cthulhudrew Date : 05-31-07 11:27 AM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? Any work in particular that you're referring to? There have been numerous collections of work, in txt, doc, pdf, you name it. That which hasn't been collected in a particular file format is pretty efficiently archived on the Vaults of Pandius (http://pandius.com) under the watchful and diligent eye of Shawn Stanley. [EDIT- Well, I guess three identical posts isn't overkill. :P] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 5] Author : ZerianTheKeeper Date : 05-31-07 11:34 AM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? Thanks for the quick reply:D. I am new to Mystara, but picked up some old 2e books from a 2nd hand book store (just can not pass up a good buy). after reading a little I am very intrigued! My group just plays 3e now so I am looking for a good conversion. I will look at what you just suggested here and post if I have any questions. Thanks again ZK -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 6] Author : Gazza555 Date : 05-31-07 11:40 AM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? One more thing - a number of online stores sell pdf's of Known World/Mystara products from the old editions which are definately recommended. Also Gawain and number of others are in the process of writing a d20 Mystara pdf you can find the appropriate thread here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=621435) - thanks to WotC's new search option. Regards Gary -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 7] Author : Hugin Date : 05-31-07 12:02 PM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? Aha! Gary lied! there is yet at least one more thing! :P Jamie has done a lot of creature conversions from O/AD&D Mystara products to 3rd Edition in this thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=459254). These are also found on the Vaults, naturally. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 8] Author : ZerianTheKeeper Date : 05-31-07 12:50 PM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? I looked at VoP, but could not make heads or tails of it. There is a lot of information but does not seem to be a lot of organization. I may be missing something please let me know if I am. Is there a collected work of VoP information? Thanks ZK -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 9] Author : Hugin Date : 05-31-07 01:23 PM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? I'm not sure how you are going about trying to find info on the Vaults but let's use an example of finding info on places. Starting from the home page click on the 'atlas' button next to the airship picture. This leads to a list of nations and areas that may be selected. Then you can choose which article is of interest. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 10] Author : maddog Date : 05-31-07 03:52 PM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? I looked at VoP, but could not make heads or tails of it. It might help to start with Thorf's maps then goto VoP to read about the countries. http://mystara.thorf.co.uk/ --Ray. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- [Post 11] Author : havard Date : 05-31-07 04:07 PM Thread Title : Re: A Collection of work? You could also get the Dragon Magazine Archive. It contains e-versions of all of the Dragons and should include the entire collection of the VoP except the most recent that came out not too long ago. The CD-Rom set is very rare and normally found best at ebay. ($120 to $200+) When you get a set see if you could electronically share it with all of us for Christmas. ;) Just KIDDING!!! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Downloaded from Wizards Community (http://forums.gleemax.com) at 05-10-08 09:24 AM.
