Any chance we can get a DS theme for this board? Blue just doesn't do it.

Jury's out. So it doesn't quite have the right look ... we'll see if the backend code is better than UBB ... seeing as I basically hate UBB, I on't imagine that being that hard. Of course, I'm not terribly enamored of any web BB systems in general ...

The theme here is appropriate, given that we're going to be running with the old killer-halflings-from-space scenario.

The blue age isn't as far away as you might think ....

If you have to ask, don't worry about it. If you didn't have to ask, then I hope realize that was a joke ....

I'm kinda partial to the ones I've written or had a hand in writing...

Killer halflings from outer space...

Does the DS3 design team actually have any notes or details on what TSR were planning with that particular storyline? I read something about it in an interview with Lynn Abbey (I think...) and wasn't there something about it in one of the later adventures? The one in the 2nd boxed set had something about the Rhulisti returning...

Not that I'd wanna use it in a game or anything, but it has to be one of the most bizarre things I ever heard come out of Athas and I guess it'd be a hoot to hear what was in the works for our lovely little game world...

When I first read it, I remember having wierd ideas about the Messenger really being a wandering rhulisti spacecraft that would stop by to check on the state of athas or the Dragon or something. Then I broke out the old Space Gods supplement for Torg and found myself looking at the biotech in there and thinking "Hmmmm - lifeshaped...." Dear oh dear. Thought better of it, thankfully.

Although I would really like to see a write up on the giant athasian space hamster known as Scaly Kevin...

...+28 advanced neopolymer deflection system...
...two feat...
...peeps...

Perfection, Mach. Sheer perfection.

That's it for me - to the Abyss with Traders!! Who gives a fig about the stupid Ssurran and their silly Scorched Plateau?? From now on I am dedicating every waking design moment to resurrecting the Killer Halflings from Outer Space and their Giant Scaled Athasian Space Hamsters (known as the Hh'aam's'taa to folkof the Tablelands...)

City State of Draj? Pfft! Who needs it? ToA? Waste of space!

Give me the hamsters or give me death!

Ah, my old display name has become my new login. How convenient that no one told me that, and now I have two accounts. I suppose these things happen when you don't allow admins to contact you per e-mail. *bangs head on keyboard*.
