Jon kindly posted my Ssurran conversion on his site (monster and player race) - they're scaled back a little from 2e but might be of use to you..

The fire resistance is an area where a tweak or two might be in order. I had wanted to keep a decent resistance score in order to ensure that the Ssurran can survive in the regions of Lava Gorge and had traded this off against no magical resistance, but I am open to suggestions...

The Heat Tolerance ability pretty much cleaned this up. No need to change it IMO.
