Right, does anyone know how the Inn of the Last Home is doing during the 5th age (before Qualinost is destroyed!) ?
I'm setting some events around Qualinost ca. before the war of souls and I have no Idea who owns and runs the place.

The Inn of the Last Home isn't in Qualinost, it's in Solace. It's doing just fine - I believe Laura, Caramon's daughter and sister to Dezra and Palin, runs the Inn after her father passes away at the beginning of the War of Souls.

Huh? It isn't in Qualinost? I just started reading the two kendar books about how Tas met Tanis and FLint, and it says it's in Qualinost, but it's been translated to my language, so maybe something was messd up during translation.

Right, so it's in Solace... Thanx for the info, but what destroyed it then? I believe it was destroyed and Tas and the others rebuild it (or am I wrong on that?) And then wasn't it destroyed again in the 5th age?

Again, I ask cuz it's been too long since I read DL.

Just ordered the annotated Chronicles trilogy book in english so I can refresh my memory.

Okay...let me see...

Back at the beginning of the War of the Lance, the Inn of the Last Home was lowered to the ground by red dragons, because the draconians didn't want to climb up into the trees. I'm confused on the matter, but I've read some books that say good dragons put it back, and some say that it stayed there on the ground, although I do believe that in the War of Souls books, it's in the trees. I don't remember it being destroyed in th 5th Age, but it might have(it's been awhile since I've read the books). It definatly was *NOT* in Qualinost, as that is an elven city, and it's been owned by humans since it was created, except of course unless you count when it was occupied by the dragonarmies.
