A new character will be joining a Greyhawk game I am running, based in the Shield Lands. He will be a human cleric of Heironeous, and I am in need of assistance in creating a Code of Conduct for the militant adventurers of the clergy.
Ideas or suggestions appreciated.
Gracias.

Check out Aaron Wilbers' Canonfire! article at http://www.canonfire.com/htmlnew/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=307&mode=nested&order=1&thold=0

It's geared toward Paladins, but should be helpful for clerics too.

I would think that clerics of the Arch-paladin would strive to maintain a similar code as a Paladin, although they might not be punished as harsly if they slipped up occasionaly, as long as the transgresion was minor.

I love that code. I remember when he posted it to Greytalk and I was like, "Ooh, ooh! Someone else believes paladins should act like responsible, intelligent, honourable, adult-like beings rather than petty, selfish, arrogant, bloodthirsty bastards!" :D

Ever since that code was posted I no longer get into arguments with players about paladins. I just point them to that article and say, "That's the code of honour I expect a paladin to adhere to in game... problem?"

Unfortunately, it's also meant nobody has been willing to play a paladin in my games since, rofl!
