I ordered my copy before I left on vacation at the beginning of July and now I get back from vacation to find out my copy was never really ordered since their billing system didn't work and I had to go through Paypal. Now I enter the paypal information and come here to find out the books are out of stock? Am I going to be waiting til GenCon now? If so please let me know so I can email to have my copy cancelled. I'd rather buy it from my local retailer if I have to wait til then.

I also realize that many of the problems we've had since start-up have slowed things down, and they are OUR problems, not yours! Hopefully you guys will have some patience. It would have been much easier to simply hold our copies to sell at GenCon, since I was taking a vacation immediately after Origins. Also understand that MargaretWeis.com is not part of my duties at Sovereign Press, and I have to manage it on my own time. Margaret, Renae, and I (the three-person staff of MargaretWeis.com) have worked hard to overcome the early roadblocks. We have been shipping out books in order of payment received. When I get home this evening, I will send out an update e-mail to let everyone know where we stand and whose books have shipped. Domestic orders should take 2-3 days, while International orders can take as many as 10 days to arrive. Everyone who has already ordered and paid will still get their books before they are available at your local game store. I will do my best to improve communication, and I thank you all in advance for your patience. If anyone gets completely fed up and does not wish to go forward with their purchase, we will be happy to cancel any current orders that have yet to ship and give the purhaser a full refund. It says that they have left for GenCon, will be gone till the 28th, and all orders are on hold till then. !!! This is just a tad bit annoying, since I e-mailed [email]sales@margaretweis.com[/email] last week and asked if they were getting anymore copies in before the beginning of August, and I got a reply saying they would have more by the end of the week (around the 18th, I assume.) After getting that answer I immediately put in my order. If I had been told that, although they were getting more copies, they were not going to be fulfilling orders until after the 28th, I would not have even bothered, even though the signed copy would have been nice. I still haven't decided whether I'm going to cancel my order with margaretweis.com, but I can't help but feel kind of irked by this...
#25 zombiegleemax Jul 21, 2003 12:56:48	I think they were sending out the new shipment before they left, to the people who ordered very long ago (and payed too). At least I hope so. The e-mail said if they received payment before Saturday, they'd send 'em out then. Sorry you missed out though.
