DLCS PrC's?

Jul 09, 2003 13:48:18 Could someone who has a copy of the DLCS please post a list of which prestige classes are in the DLCS, and brief (not too much in the way of spoilers please) on what they do?

Also, are there any plans on having a gladiator PrC? One of my players wants a minotaur gladiator when start using 3.5 in our next campaign.

Thanx to anyone who can help on either count.

Jul 09, 2003 15:06:38 I think there's a gladiator prestige class in Sword and Fist. If there's no DL specific one, perhaps this one will suit your needs.

Jul 09, 2003 17:38:08 Aye. If nothing else, I may have to go with the S&F one. I think a Krynnish Gladiator PrC would be fitting, either from a Minotaur perspective or perhaps in a sourcebook showcasing the age of Istar.

We did have a Gladiator PrC in the book, but since it was pretty much teh one from S&F, they decided to go ahead and cut it (although they had told us to put it in), since I believe they're revamping it for 3.5, but I'm not completely sure.

2 new base classes + 12 PrCs (You forgot the Legendary Tactician)... that's quite a bit. The FRCS only has 13 PrCs ;)

For now, go ahead and use the WotC one. We might do one up when we cover the Age of Istar/Legends era of play

Sweet. I guess thats at least 2-3 years away, more than enough time to finish my current and subsequent DL campaigns.

*sniffles* It got cut... along with my entire appendix on Gnomish Invention Creation rules. Without the appendix, the Master Tinkerer was superfluous. *sniffles*

But, fear not! They are not forgotten!

Jul 11, 2003 10:38:55 I think racial PrC's have their place in DL but then I imagine that you could fill an entire book with DL specific/DL race specific prestige classes.

Aye, you'd be quite correct. Which is why we're trying to be pretty selective of where we put them, otherwise they'd be scattered willy nilly across all of our products. In the end, I think it's best that all racial specific PrCs were confined to a single product, with only a few exceptions appearing in products in which they are absolutely necessary.
