I always like to see other PC's group adventure stories and characters. Thought I would open a thread to share stories.

I'm the DM for a group of 5. 4 PC's and 1 Cohort:
Female(Sasha Claybourne, Oeridian[NPCPC of mine]) Clr7/Ftr3/Hol2 of Trithereon;

Male High Elf(Malhavoc Shadowlord)Rgr7/Abj5 of Ehlonna;

Male Dwarf Dru12(Fletcher Green) of Ehlonna;

Male Dwarf Ftr7/Rog3(Runik Stonehammer)Late addition to the group after we lost a Wiz/Rog.

The 1 NPC is a Rog3/Ftr4/DwS3 Wild Elf Female(Onali) cohort of Malhavocs.

They recently found a link to a Cult of Nerull(killed a member) and went to The Rakers to find a hideout. Which was a old Dwarven Kingdom I created. They took out the lackeys and middle members, but the BBEG got away. The good guys retreated to regroup, and are now thinking of going after the BBEG, if they can find him.

My campaign is on the high-powered side, but that is what everybody rolled. Points are in the 40+ range( I'll take a 4d6 over a Point Buy anyday!)

I am running a campaign with some old friends from high school (we're all well out of school). There are only 3 PCs, and none of them are fighters. Since my personal favorite is the fighter, I decided to run an NPC fighter to give the party a little muscle.

The PCs consist of Draven and Raynen Hawkspire, a ranger and a sorcerer respectively; and Arioch Tanelorn, a rogue.

Draven and Raynen, who are half elvish, grew up in the eastern part of the Principality of Ulek, but their parents were killed when the Pomarj pushed across the Jewel River. They were away visiting an uncle when it happened, and when they returned to find their home destroyed, they went back home with their uncle. As a result of this tragedy, both Raynen and Draven have an abiding hatred of orcs.

Arioch grew up in Celene, and in fact, little has been revealed about his background. I think Draven and Raynen regard him with some suspicion, perhaps owing to the incident when he presented the party with horses and then, after the party had mounted the horses and began riding away, announced that he had stolen them. Arioch recently awakened Draven and Raynen early one morning, told them he had to go somewhere, and he'd meet up with him again in a couple of months. They have no idea where he went.

When the campaign started, I prepared two NPC fighters and essentially gave the PCs the choice of which one would join them. One of them was a half-orc, which I thought would make an interesting dynamic with the orc-hating Hawkspires. They didn't choose him, but he's been a recurring character anyway. The one they did choose is my namesake on these boards, Brom Blackforge. He is the second son of a blacksmith from Furyondy, who chose adventuring since he was not going to inherit the family business.

So far, I've run the party through the WotC modules "Sunless Citadel," which I placed near Greyhawk, and "Forge of Fury," which I set in the Lortmils; of course, I've also incorporated some of my own elements, although I don't want to blow any secrets, in case my players decide to cruise the boards.

After putting all the work into running this campaign, it's nice to share it (even if only a little bit) with other Greyhawk fans. I'd be interested in hearing about other campaigns or in getting comments about mine.

Well, okay, I guess there is one thing I can post here that won't blow any secrets. Since the PCs all have connections to the area near the Pomarj, I've been slipping in lots of references to the shadow of the orcish threat. On their way to the "Forge of Fury," the party stumbled upon an envoy from the Pomarj who was headed into the Lortmils in an effort to obtain the cooperation of the scattered tribes of orcs still living there (having escaped destruction in the Hateful Wars, or having moved back since then). I've also introduced Gorin Thorian (from the Character Closeups on the WotC/D&D website) as a potential rival for rulership of the Pomarj. All of that will come to a head much later, though, as the party is still fairly low level.

I don't want to hijack this thread, as it was intended as a place for lots of people to share stories about their campaigns, but since I'm the only one who has replied (except Wes, with a link to his own pre-existing thread), I'm going to go ahead here with a short update about my campaign.

I previously mentioned that one of the PCs - the rogue, Arioch - recently woke up the other two early one morning and told them he was leaving and he'd meet up with them in a couple of months. As it turned out, Arioch agreed to have the party's NPC fighter (Brom) and another NPC go with him. That left the original party of four down to the two brothers, Raynen and Draven Hawkspire. To my surprise, Draven's player reacted strongly to this, but not because it split up the party, but because he was afraid that Arioch would get ahead of his character in experience and become more powerful. I think that's been smoothed out now, but we haven't had time to play again yet, so when we do I'll see whether it's still a sore point.

At the end of our last session, the party was about halfway through the "Forge of Fury" module, and had just encountered some duergar. The encounter did not go well and the party was forced to flee, with Brom carrying an unconscious Arioch. They returned to the town of Blasingdell (detailed in the module), which I placed at the foot of the Lortmil Mountains about halfway between Courwood and Thunderstrike. Draven and Raynen are still there, but have announced their intention to return to face the duergar at our next session. When they go, they will be joined by Keth Corwyn, the half-orc fighter that they originally rejected in favor of Brom, and a human fighter/cleric of St. Cuthbert named Thaddeus Beckham (who will be played by Arioch's player until Arioch's storyline rejoins Draven and Raynen's).

I'm sorry if any of this seems cryptic or hard to follow. I'm trying to balance my desire to share information about the campaign with my desire to keep certain details away from my players for the time being.

More ...More!!!!!!

My group is currently back in The Phostwood in the Elven Extra-dimensional city I put in. Malhavoc and Fletcher are from The Phostwood. They just got finished chasing and eradicating most of the cult they were chasing after(BBEG still lives). They rescued the NPC they(the cult) had captured.

More Background: Sasha was born with a Silver spoon in her mouth, with a father who is a religious leader in their med-size town about 30 miles from Niole Dra. Her Mother is also a Town council member.

Our Driud went for the Power-game Orphan rescued by a Druid, from which he learned his craft.

Malhavoc's Pops was an adventurer of some renoun before being killed. His Uncle is an Undead Hunter.
His cohort is a Wild Elf forced to war because of the invasion, but upon witnessing the power of this group, she has stuck around, she has a crush on Mal.

The new guy was an adventurer, who was helping on the plains outside the Phostwood, but was captured by a rather nasty enclave of Barb's lead by a Barb/Clr of Iuz. Rescued by our party, he has stuck around(considering the equip. he has picked up, who wouldn't).

It is currently winter in my campaign, but they have a couple of leads: chase after the Cult, Get the Dragon that killed Mal's Pops, or whatever else I come up with.

Currently my NPCPC is still 7/3/2
But the others have gained a level

Rgr8/Abj5; Cohort still the same
Druid13
Ftr8/Rog3
