I was asking about a DLCS data set on the etool forums and there was talk about the legalities of making my own set and posting it for others to use. It would be nice to be able to share this work instead of one person trying to do the whole thing themselves. What am I allowed to do?

Has there been any talk between CMP and Sovereign about allowing an offical DLCS data set be made?

Well, if DLCS does not contain Open Game Content, then you can't do anything about it. You can ask WotC and Sovereign Press but most likely they'll tell you that Code Monkey is the official support company for e-Tools.

You could see if Code Monkey is willing to contract you to do the work, while Code Monkey try to secure permission from WotC and Sovereign Press.

Well I've posted this on the etools site and figured I would come to this side and ask the DL side. Granted everyone is out for gencon .... grumble grumble .. I wanna go .. but they can get this when they get back.

Oh heck no .. I'm still learning my way around that program. I'm a huge newbie.

Could I get a response from a DL rep. now that you all are back from Gencon? Only when you have time ... don't want to take you away from making more DL goodness for us all.
