I've been looking all over old material, both planescape and forgotten realms... I've even dug my way through all new published material... I have come up mostly empty handed.. I was wondering if someone knew where to find a more detailed description of the celestial choirs (angelic choirs), their numbers etc... By detailed I mean more than one or two pages... something to give me a real feel for the celestial orders which I will use in my forgotten realms campaign.

Um, I don't think Planescape ever used the concept of celestial choirs... unless you're talking about the different ranks of archons. If it's just general information on celestials you're looking for, there was a 2nd edition supplement called "Warriors of Heaven" which you can get from svgames.com. It got a lot of criticism for the way it handled celestials as PC races, but as a source of information there's probably nothing better.

Sounds like In Nomine, from Steve Jackson Games... Well, more or less.

yeah I don't think Planescape went into the whole choir of angels thing though I think you might be able to find numbers for some of the higher forms in the old "warriors of heaven" book

an assuie author has a triology about angels (fiction) and a website with a good overview of the angelic choir (though it's a bit modified for his own purposes)

the site is thus
http://www.richardharland.net/ferren/info/i_angel.htm

(very apporpriate)
