Im running this game set in the near future Greyhawk :

The Material plane has come partly one with the Abyss and the Nine Hells , so demons and devils stalk the land.
Iuz is on the move again.

Drow and other foul beings are flooding out of the Underdark. (beholders , :behold

Githyanki raids are as brutal as it gets. Evil aligned countrys are with the Baddy's. *draws breath*

Orcs and other evil humanoids are raiding the world.

My 2 players (soon 3 , being out of country) are now lvl 6
Theyr PC's are female Wild Elf ranger NG who wields two weapons
and a female half elven sorcerer that is LG.
The third guy has this thing for rogues , so I think he will make one.

They have been in some city near Dreadwood (keoland) for the whole time (lvl 1 - 6) soon theyl be outta town. So i was just scrolling my monster manual for nice enemys. Hten i tought
"hey , this is a demon world now (kinda) , so why not use Fiendish creatures ?" Well , I scrolled some more and came upon the Ettin (we have bad experiences 'bout ettins them being nasty an' all ) so i tought "Fiendish ettin DR/magic no problem , SR cool! HD+5 hmmm : 15 not bad but not great either but smite goood hmm nice (he would do 2d6+16 dmg if he hit anyone with that one) CR 8 ... hmm maybe too hard vs 2 lvl 6 dudes?
Maybe wait for the third dude to come too ?
ANYWAY what do you think 'bout the setting ?

Any comments welcome

The "Blood War" spillover is something I see many Greyhawk DMs doing, usually utilizing Iuz as part of the scheme. I like the idea.

Are Drow and other dwellers of the Underdark spilling out for conquest? Or has something else forced them out? Sounds like a good idea could develope here.

Greyhawk is a dangerous place, and it sounds like you are presenting it that way for your PCs. Send them straight to the Shield Lands when they leave Keoland. If the theme of the campaign is encountering and battling fiendish creatures, that would be a good place to do plenty of it. Especially if you are playing in a time period before The Flight of Fiends.

How long as this campaign been running for, in character and out of character time wise?

Thanks for the feedback Jagermeister

The game has been running for about a month in game.
'bout two weeks in real life.

I was thinking of the Shield lands too.
