It appears that the SJ-like Aether and Flux can now be ordered. Tomorrow is payday. Hee hee.

Aether and Flux

I was hoping to see this at GenCon, but I didn't have much time to look.

Here's hoping it's a good product with the SJ feel.

If someone gets is, let us know how it is. I'm very curious. It looks like it's at least going to be better than that crappy Polyhedron mini-game that they published under the name Spelljammer. I'd like to here something concrete from someone who owns the book first before I buy it myself.

I ordered it, and should have it any day now. Some people on the Spelljammer-L mailing list asked me to do a review when I get it, so I'll post that here as well.

Here's hoping. *crosses fingers*

Just got my copy last night. I haven't had much time to look it over yet, so I won't have a full review until the weekend or so. Busy week ahead.

My initial impression is that the book is so-so. There aren't any setting-specific classes or prestige classes. There are a few feats, although they are a bit...bland.

There are some ships in there, which do appear somewhat like Spelljammer ships.

Like I said, I have only had a cursory glance, but my first impression is that this would be a good companion piece, but nothing to base a setting on.
