Excluding novels, what sites or modules and accessories would you suggest for good source material on Greyhawk?

I know I can "google" for it but I'm looking for quality not quantity.

As for modules and accessories, I'm particularly interested in the pre-Wars era.

Any help appreciated!

My personal favourites are the '83 boxed set with the Player's Guide to Greyhawk and the Glossography of Greyhawk as well as Greyhawk Adventures.

I don't know the modules very well but I'm taking a shine to Against the Giants. It's very simplistic though and tends to provide broad, sweeping strokes of background plot rather than intricacies or any subtle changes.

Personally, I find Greyhawk a little dull and bland without the inclusion of From the Ashes, the Marklands, Iuz the Evil and my favourite, Ivid the Undying.

Without them, Greyhawk to me is like a greyscale picture with numbers on the various sections, waiting for an amateur painter to fill in the gaps. With them, it's like a full-colour, living setting full of dynamism and adventure and yet still allows you to add a lot of your own touches.

Opinions on that, however, will differ greatly.

Delgath: Very well said. I have always thought Carl Sargent, the author of most of the books you mentioned, was the best setting designer TSR/WOTC has ever had.

Gotta go with Delgath.

83 box set, from the ashes, city of greyhawk box, the Marklands, Iuz the evil and Ivid the undying should do it.

The newer Living Greyhawk Gaz is good too if you want to update to CY591 after the wars have settled a bit.

Of the adventures if you get T1-T4 Temple of Elemental evil, A1-A4 Slavers and the GDQ against the giants series with a bit (ok a lot) of tweaking you have a semi-linked set of adventures from lvl1 to lvl14-ish spanning a huge chunk of the flanaess from the Nyr Dyv, down the wild coast and into the crystalmists to the west add return to the temple to go full circle. Lots of 1e/2e to 3e/3.5e conversions needed though.
