Hmm, Im starting a campaign on Taladas, are ogres all dead?

Aug 27, 2003 9:28:32 A buddy mentioned to me that the Ogres are all dead. Did all the ogres die or was it just the Irda. Also does anyone know if Taladas has changed alot?

Im setting the campaign post war of souls (though I havent finished the books due to Im going blind,hehe) but I heard that all the gods are back except the Paladine and Takhisis.

Who is the main evil diety now anyway?

Aug 27, 2003 10:16:20 A large part of the Irda (a sect of the High Ogre) on Ansalon were killed at the beginning of the Chaos War. As for Irda on Taladas, very little has been said.

Sargonnas is most probably the major evil god now.

Aug 27, 2003 12:18:58 on taladas? Hiddukel has always been the big bad evil there. As for other info, see james o'rance's stuff. its pretty much all we have to go by, and everyone seems to call it official =)

Aug 27, 2003 13:07:08 Yes, Im doing taladas since I still don't have the DLCS yet. Once my copy comes in then my group will be going to play on the main continent.

Aug 27, 2003 19:21:13 As pointed out by jonesy, most of the Irda ( High Ogres ) who dwelt north of Ansalon are dead, destroyed by Chaos. However, some 2,000 Mischta ( another faction of good-aligned High Ogres ) live on the island of Selasia in the Spine of Taladas, as do several hundred N'zunta ( evil High Ogres ). All this info is detailed in the 2nd ed Otherlands supplement, which is available for free download somewhere or other on the Wizards site. I would have to go with Sargonnas being the chief evil god now, but Hiddukel would be a major influence in Taladas.
