Just wondering, what happened to the people who participated the building of Greyhawk? What are they doing nowadays, specifically withing the gaming business?

Some of the names that come to mind are Allen Hammack, Carl Sargent, David Cook, Gary Gygax, James Ward and Lenard Lakofka.

I've read somewhere that Gary was working for Sword & Sorcery Studios, but I don't know if it's true.

Gygax has done some recent work with Troll something studios as well as 'The Canting Crew' through someone, I'm not too sure. It's not D&D specific but it's still for RPG's.

Soon, I'm sure, there will be a coloured, spongy, type person who will pipe up and tell you all about Lejendary Adventures...

grodog can tell you all about Rob Kuntz's work, as he's the President of the KKK (the Kuntz Klan Klub :D ).

Carl Sargent dropped off the face of the planet after some sort of breakdown or life change decision and hasn't been heard from since.

Don't know about the rest.

Gary is writing for his own Lejendary Adventure RPG and freelancing for d20 publishers including Troll Lord Games. His recent works include Noble Kings and Dark Lands, The Canting Crew, World Builder, Living Fantasy, The Slayer's Guide to Dragons, The Slayer's Guide to Undead, The Hermit, and Hall of Many Panes (forthcoming).

Necromancer Games, Troll Lord Games, and Kenzer & Company have published Rob's Dark Druids, the first three installments of Maze of Zayene, Garden of the Plantmaster, and Sir Robilar's City of Brass (forthcoming).

Most of the above works are set in Greyhawk or are so much in its style that they are effectively Greyhawk sources.

Jim Ward runs Fast Forward Entertainment.

David Cook works for the computer game developer Impressions Games.

IIRC, David "Zeb" Cook recently contributed a Monkey God stat for Green Ronin's Asian-flavored monster supplement, Jade Dragon & Hungry Ghost.

BTW, is Carl Sargent official retired from RPG design?
