#1StreamdragonSep 02, 2003 9:57:31 | This question is mostly for Cams, who I was told had a part in the design of the DLCS (correct me if I'm wrong though), but I'd appreciate any input. Why was Ranger chosen as the Kagonesti favored class? Why not Barbarian or (in my mind most appropriate) Druid? Elves are supposed to be such a magical race, and druid just seemed to fit so well. Also, with not much of a written language of their own, barbarian works well for fluff -> game translation. Just curious. |

I can only assume it's because the Kagonesti are so at home in the wilderness that their natural tendency is towards the skills of a ranger. There aren't a huge number of Kagonesti druids, and barbarian might be a popular choice for the Wilder Elves but it's not as wilds-focused as the ranger class. Cheers, Cam |
