#1 lenin97 Sep 03, 2003 7:56:02	So, with the release of the DLCS and the Age of Mortals. I was wondering what some of my fellow "Dragonlancers" are planning on making as your first character for the new incarnation of DL?

#5 zombiegleemax Sep 03, 2003 15:42:46	My group is starting a game next Thursday. I only know race/class combos for most of the characters: Human Fighter (goal to become a KoS) Minotaur Fighter Half-Elf Ranger Silvanesti Mystic And then we get to my character: LE Female Human Noble (goal to become a WoHS) My character is the daughter of a Solamnic ambassador to Nordmaar (her father, the ambassador, is also a Knight of the Crown). Her soon-to-be-stepmother (my character's father is getting married in the first game) is a LE half-elf noble/black robed wizard, and has been something of a surrogate mother to my character (her biological mother died in childbirth, possibly the result of a dragon's dying curse against the father). I see my character as ambitious, ruthless, but also concerned with propriety and law. #8 zombiegleemax Sep 03, 2003 17:28:28	Got one group in the middle of character generation (6-7 players)so I'll post the older of the two... The Older group consists of three players and is set post War of the Blue Lady but just prior to the Chaos War. Most of the characters are playing the children of their older War of the Lance characters (Played in a previous campaign to this one). Leith Galdermanth, Paladin of Paladine and soon to be squire of the Crown. Son of Tynan Galdermath (Solamnic Hero and Ranger) Ashlynn Aurellan, Apprentice Wizard (pre-test) and daughter of Emereth Aurellan (former Knight of Solamnia). Silwyn, Silvanesti/Qualinesti (raised in Qualinost so basically a Qualinesti) Druid of Chislev. And for completeness sake, my old party (which I played in) converted to 3.5 and hopefully ressurected someday... Kaylanthalas (Kaylan) Sylverliefe:Qualinesti Fighter (Peerless Archer PrC) Aran Avan-Guarre: Bard from Sanction Morgianna Sunmarch (former druid) now cleric of Mishakal Tristan Wyrmsbane: Solamnic Knight of the Crown Damon Nightshroud: Tiefling (Chaos Demon bloodline) Wizard of High Sorcery, Red Robes. #9 shugi Sep 03, 2003 17:29:51	I'm in Arandur's shoes as well, though I'm testing a few characters to get a feel for the game mechanics. My party currently consists of: (2) kender rogues - one handler, one actual thief (2) Silvanesti fighter/wizards (1) Kapak draconian (no class yet - they're 2nd level) (1) minotaur mariner (1) Kagonesti ranger Needless to say, there's a good deal of tension between the Silvanesti elves and the minotaur/draconian, which make an unlikely pair in and of themselves.
#10 zombiegleemax Sep 03, 2003 18:19:25	My first charachter is a Brute cleric of the only god worth following Sargonnas, the TRUE god of Justice and war and my companion is a human ranger of who foolhardedly follows Habbukuk. Im certain eventually my friend will see the true light and follow the Light of the burning sun.

No names yet lvl 3 ranger - Silvanesti lvl 3 wiz - Silvanesti lvl 3 monk - kender lvl 3 cleric - human 1 hd centaur - if you dont know then GOD have mercy on you lol I am the most powerful player of all, the feared dm muwahhahahaha :D

#13 The_White_Sorcerer Sep 04, 2003 6:08:25	Well, I am the DM, so I have a lot of characters. But one of them is what you could call "a DMPC." He's a lawful good 5th-level human ranger with animals and monstrous humanoids as his favored enemies. He's the lover of one of the PCs, a lawful good 5th-level human cleric of Mishakal.
#14 lenin97 Sep 04, 2003 7:26:15	Well, with my new found understanding of the Hulking Brute feat. I've completed my first character. Still working on name and history but he is a expert 1 / fighter 2 minotaur. It's so good to be playing one of the Horned One's chosen again.
