I thought I would start a new thread on this topic, which was mentioned in the thread on the Irda favored class.

I know Trampas wrote a totally wicked version, but now that the DLCS has been introduced, do you think there are things that could / should be changed???

LOL, you go away for a week, the it takes you hours to catch up on posts,

Anyway,

I am a big fan of the half-irda, (and Irda in general)

I always saw the Irda (post Chaos War) as a dead culture, there would be a few, and thats it.

Even fewer now, when you think about it. They have been protected by the gods of good, but that changed after Tahky stole the world.

I wonder if she would have got any revenge on her 'Disobedient' children?

I have always seen the Half-Irda, as powerful sorcerers, but without training, would not have been able to control these innate magical powers.

I remember having a game a while ago, and my half-irda character burned an entire village to the ground, because he could not control his own power.

Anyway, just some thoughts,

What about an Irda who became an Ogre-Titan?

Or, worse, what if the Nzunta met Dauroth? Imagine a thoroughly evil Nzunta army, skilled in spellcasting and shapechanging already, becoming Ogre-Titans?

They'd be a *very* dangerous enemy.

One of my questions is....what happens to Ogre-Titans after the first generation? Do they stabilize? Or do Ogre-Titan children still need the elixer every month?

It would be a great storyline, if it was learned that they became a stable race in the next generation (at least for a few hundred years).....it could be an epic quest to find a way to counteract the potion, before the current generation of Ogre Titans starts having children..

According to Age of Mortals, it is theoretically possible for any race of ogre descent to become an Ogre Titan. This would include Ogres, Half-Ogres, Irda, and Minotaurs.

Could you imagine a minotaur ogre titan? Yikes!

And Hags, Hill Giants, Cyclopsi, Ettins, and...uh...oh yeah, Trolls.

Perhaps the Thanoi and the Yeti too...it's never really been explained where those two "races" come from. They could be of Ogre stalk.
