The gorgeous covers.
Some of the coolest Prestige Classes ever. And the Knights, these are the best ever! Do I want to be a Knight of the Crown, Legion Mystic, or ex-Thorn Knight/Rogue Knight? Or how about a War Mage that actually makes me want to play one? Or the Kender Nightstalker, Citadel Mystic, or Dragonrider? Or how about the Mystic, Noble, and Mariner base classes? I don't know, I'll have to DM a new campaign just so I can play them all.

We have sweet new feats, up to date maps, and a thoroughly detailed timeline.

Rules for bringing everything from Kagonesti (yayeah! ;) ) to Irda and Draconians into 3.5 D&D.

Specifics on casting novel-specific spells like Bind Spirit, Spirit Horde, and Share Animal's Mind.

How to incorporate such flavorful coolness as dying curses(!) and leeching magic items. That just rocks. Period. And its the kind of flavor that makes me love Dragonlance.

For sixteen years we had one hardcover DL book. One. Black and white and 128 pages. Then for a while we had Tales of the Lance, a comprehensive product that somehow just didn't have the DL magic in it.

These new books have it. Complaining about them as if they were somehow a "let down" is ridiculous. Its one thing to say The Phantom Menace was a disappointment, but if it was better than The Empire Strikes Back and you're still complaining that it didn't meet your expectations, then there's something wrong.

Dragonlance Adventures was the "Empire Strikes Back" of DL gaming material. The DLCS and Age of Mortals are better. And I'm damn glad to have them.

Well done Sovereign. Well done. Bring on the Bestiary and bring on KEY OF DESTINY.
