Is there any room for a new player ??? who has been playing D&D and DL for years, but always ends up DM'ing DL and would love to play for a change.

I'm looking for a new player myself. I had thought to drop by tonight and put up a thread asking if anyone was interested. We play every Sunday night at 8pm (eastern) if you're interested. We're just getting our Dragonlance game up and running though so it may be a week or two before we'll all ready to go. So check around and get back to me here if you're interested (or anybody else for that matter). You'll need AOL instant messenger (this is what we use to play) and ICQ is helpful as well (if not ICQ you'll need to give me an e-mail address). So just let me know if anybody is interested.

As far as I know you're 5 hours ahead of us (so you'd be playing about 1 to 1:30am). Which would probably be a bit much for you but, if I'm wrong, just let me know. lol

Hi,

I am in New Zealand (GMT + 12) and I believe that would be about 1 pm on Monday, which is when I would be at work unfortunetly.

I've never played and I'd love to play but I know no one near me who does play it. Neone willing to create a party in europe and accept a newbie (noobie) in the group(people with lots of patience and experience in teaching newbies is really welcome :P)? Where and how do u play it online?

If you go to RD&DA you can play a D&D game here at wizards on the message board. There's one dragonlance game I'm playing in, and it doesn't matter what timezone you're in.

Someone might Dm another dragonlance game there, upon request. You can ask in the meeting hall thread. If I had the module that's being released in october I'd dm it, but you'll have to wait a few months & hope I have time.

Sunday nights at 8pm work fine for me, my AIM screenname is Toritenshi2 and my ICQ# is currently unknown cause I had to reload ICQ and lost the contact info, but I'll find out and tell you. I'll see if you're online right now.

Im a staffer on a Dragonlance based MUD....the info you need is in my sig.

Its not for the faint of heart. Its a hard but very addicting game.

Anyone not familar with MUDs....Its a text-based online game that runs 24/7 and our playerbase averages from 80-120 people during peak times from all over the world.

This MUD has role-play as an option not an enforcement so you never have to worry about being out of character and most mortal(players) affairs are dealt with by the mortals. ie..stealing from or killing other players isnt restricted though is monitored for abuse.

Didnt want this to sound like an advertisement but the topic was for someone looking for DL online.
