Nope. Some prestige classes to add a little extra to them, but no changes to the base class at all.

Cheers,

It's interesting to note that since there are no changes to the sorcerer core class, they can now choose to learn spells from the schools of Enchantment and Necromancy, something they couldn't do under the original SAGA rules which stated that sorcery could never directly affect living things (they can also now fool around with undead, something that was originally the province of mystics only).
The same goes for Mystics, who can now directly affect non-living things, by taking spells such as create water, transmute rock to mud, flame strike, etc.

More interesting still that sorcerers can now have familiars. ;)

Here's the way I look at it.

Ambient magic is still rather new. Even the SAGA products say that the sorcerers and mystics didn't fully understand the magic yet, and were still learning new ways of applying it. Now that godly magic has returned, the two magics can be compared side-by-side.

So, what we see in SAGA (which didn't always mesh with what was in the books) was just the beginning of understanding. The DLCS is more of what is known now.

Also Takhisis was draining away the magic of the world. Who knows what limitations that may have put on sorcery.
