Got a tentative site up at www.sederqvist.com/ao

The most important stuff is there.

Now, how's that fund raising going? Will Athas Online get its own domain, a database solution, assistant admins and all that funky stuff? Mach? Nagypapi?

Heh, payday hath cometh over here. Unfortunately my advance was about half of what I asked for. So, since I have no credit cards . . . who gets the rubber check?

Can't promise the big bucks (I am busy refurbishing my house right now) but I am sure that I can send a couple of ceramics your way. All in a good cause

*waves hand* "You don't need to refurbish your house". ;)

I don't expect people to donate hundreds of dollars, nor is that necessary. But anyone who can spare a few dollars is welcome to spend the night perusing the tomes of knowledge contained in the chambers of the Blue Shrine.

I'm going to put up a credits page on the new site to be, where all contributors will be mentioned. Of course, the more you contribute, the higher up on the list your name will be. ;)

Currently though, the list will be rather short.

Jon, you can pay back our kindness with extra whipping to the team to get 3.5 DS out ASAP. I have to fight back my players every weekend with the excuse: "it is not done yet", it becomes pretty lame now. I don't want to start with 3e, as it clearly won't have any support in the future.

At least the races and class chapters, so we can do basic character generation...

Please...

Believe me, I've been cracking the whip intensely, but I have to respect people's lives outside the organization. Nels aka Feebles did a fantastic revising job on the Spells and Powers chapters last week, much thanks to Trotzflocke's extensive feedback. The Monsters Bureau is also making great progress on the Terrors of Athas project (monster manual), much thanks to Mark aka Kamelion's efforts. Nels and Mark are not as profiled individuals as Flip and I, but they do a fantastic job in their areas of expertise. Working with them is very inspiring.

This week we are actually making several rounds of reviewing edits to the DS3.5 Core Rules document on a daily basis! We will be releasing a preview without the image work soon (Flip, can you give them a date?), so people will have the rules in their hands as soon as possible, and also so we can get some instant feedback to get rid of any remaining myrmeleons hiding in the text.

I think I am getting jealous! :D I should probably shut down my site as well ! ;)

Gimme gimme, I old! Donate to your humble silly frog to keep is site online !

Btw, thanks for this information you just gave jon. It's fun to have update.

Which made me think about something. I know you all have personnal live. Everybody understand. But I would really like to see (from the Official site) just a small update message telling about the work done, or everything else. Just to have at least one message on the official site to keep us alert and happy.

After 3.5 core rule, what will be the next target of athas.org?

Another question, how goes the playtesting of the emmissary that as been going on for at least a year now?

Flip's our Information Contact. He's responsible for issuing press releases and site news. I'll tell him to post news more frequently on the athas.org website.

The Emissary is not really in a playtest phase any longer. It has been put on hold until the rules stabilize. Gab and I were the ones primarly working on TE, but it was frozen last year. Once the DS3.5 Core Rules are out, I might find time to work on TE again. A lot of things have happened since we started working on TE. Other projects have been given priority, such as Tyrian Conspiracy, City-State of Draj, Whispers of the Storm, and of course DS3/3.5 Core Rules.

As for other projects, Terrors of Athas will probably be the next official release. Also, you can expect an update to Tyrian Conspiracy sometime after DS3.5 is released. Updates for City-State of Draj and Whispers of the Storm will also follow.

Working with them is very inspiring.

Thanks for the compliment Jon - faced with such silver-tongued wizardry I find myself strangely compelled to sell my house and donate the proceeds to the Blue Shrine Revival Project... ;)

Given the option of refurbishing a standard house and an old mysterious ruin, which would you choose? ;)

Massive amounts of caffine coupled with moderate amounts of White Russians. But mostly just me being a gimp.

The worst (or is it best?) drink I ever had came from a brief stint in Germany. It was called a Permenator. Being not too far from there, maybe you've heard of it. Two glasses and I learned that I spoke very eloquent Swahili. Problem was, I never heard Swahili before in my life.
