Given that mystics don't seem to draw their power from the gods, does that mean that you could have a multiclass mystic/wizard?

I'm going to give you a two-fold answer on this one.

The key is that you can't multiclass between mystics and other divine spellcasting classes, or between wizards and sorcerers (or bards).

Technically, there is nothing saying you can't do a mystic/wizard. Even though the magic domain isn't normally allowed in DL, I would consider having a mystic take it if he is multiclassed with wizard.

However, my personal opinion is that wizards, or more specifically the Wizards of High Sorcery, should have multiclass restrictions akin to the paladin or monk. This would represent their total commitment to magic.

One reason I've been considering this is I pulled out my copy of Rise of the Titans, and was looking at the stats for Titans that they featured....many had both divine and arcane spellcasting abilities.....so I figure either a mystic/sorcerer, or mystic/WoHS might be appropriate.
