I was reading my DLCS for the umpteenth time, and read the Shadowpeople stats more carefully... and realised I have never heard of these people. I've only read the Chronicles, Legends, DoSF and the War of Souls series, as well as the Minotaur books, so were they in 5th Age or something, as I didn't notice them in any of the books I read??

The shadow people are appear in the module DL 9 dragons of deceit. They live underneath sanction and help the heroes escape the Dragon Highlords jail (if they have been arrested) and help the heroes discover the truth about where little draconians come from.

I don't know if they have ever made an appearance in a novel.

I believe there was a Shadowperson on the Perechon during the Marquesta Kar-Thon book. That is where most of the detailed info about Shadowpeople comes from I think. I can't remember seeing them in any other novel (except for that one reference in Chronicles).

They're mentioned in at the end of Ariakas' novel too (Emperor of Ansalon). TherĀ“re trapped in a chamber and Ariakas was about to kill them with a breath weapon of his sword.

By the way, DLCS says they often become Adepts, but the book also says there are no Adepts in DL, more stuff for the errata

Replace this with mystic, for a quick fix. Those shadowpeople with a connection to the Revered One demonstrate what could be described as mysticism.

Cheers,
