Thanks to Hasbro for letting us remake DarkSun Online:Crimson Sands. With out their permission none of this would have been possible.

We have been rewritting the entire game engine from scratch but are using most of the origional game media.

For those of you who are DarkSun fans and would like to get involved or play test when it becomes availible then please follow the link bellow.

Oct 14, 2003 17:27:31 Well we are hoping to open for Alpha testing with in the next 30 days. We are doing are best to do so. The Alpha test wills tart out just testing basic movement and player and NPC interaction. Not alot of sprites hardly have been added so you might all look the same at first early in the test.

Check out the web site message board for more details. DarkSun Fans are encouraged to support us by supplyig us with information we mayt need ot make sure that DSO will be Athas reborn at heart.

Nov 29, 2004 11:50:27 We are needing map editors. If you have creative talents and would like to help create the online game maps based off information in the games, books and novels please let us know!

Also the game engine has also been released for those of you who would like to see how the engine works so far. All DS material has been removed though for security and copyright reasons.

Nov 29, 2004 14:14:25 That is because both links were input incorrectly (they point to http://www.wizards.com/www.darksunworld.com which is not even a real address). Try just typing the URL of the site into your browser's address bar and that will bring you to the site.
