One of my players is going to play a planar Avariel (from Forgotten Realms), being this planescape an all, I see no matter in it, I even like de idea.
However, I'm not sure wich of the planes will be his plane of origin... I first thought of Arborea (like all the "normal" elfs), but then I remenbered that the Drow come from another planes (2, de Demon Web for evil Drow and Ysgard for the good ones), so I thought that an Elven race as peculiar as the Avariel will also come from another plane, I have given it a thought or two, and I think that the Elemental Plane of Air suits them the best (for their love of the skies and their good relations with Good aligned avian creatures).

What do you say... am I correct?, do you think another one suits them better?

Arborea is fine.

The reason that Drow do not come from there is that they were tossed out.

The Al Karak Elam (or Avariels as Primes call them) come from the Beastlands. There are two towns or aeries of note. On Krigala (layer the 1st) the town is called Ilifar-in-the-Wind. On Brux (layer the 2nd) the town is known as Al Karak Elam-Jhankhal.

Thanks for the note... I'll inform my player, don't think he'll mind.
