It's at http://www.swordsorcery.com/gammaworld/, and it's got text and PDF excerpts and even an entire adventure you can run with just the file and d20 Modern.

I am going to be buying the book, though getting people to play might be a little tougher where I am, and I will definitely pass along my thoughts.

I got the players handbook and the machines and mutants book. I gotta get a Gamma World campaign going somewhere.

The best thing about the books is they tell you how to design your own campaign world. And you can add what you want and not add what you don't want. And add your own creations too.

I'm with Lissa here. I totally dig the new angle with the setting. The addition of nanotech is a natural progression with modern sci-fi and it's effects on the P-A world is fantastic. I've recently moved from California to Arkansas, but the scenarios I've come up with so far are easily dropped into either the southern California desert where I'm from, to the Ozark forests where I'm at. The community creation section is great, and I like the part on language shift, I was unaware of there being a pattern that could be used. I have some critter naming issues, but that's nothing, since I call'em what I want to anyways, but the addition of the nanotech inbred into a species is very handy with several of my adventure ideas. All in all, I'm jazzed with the new edition, even if I don't use d20.

First of all, I just recently got the new d20 GW setting and Mutants and Machines... they're incredible, and I adore them. But this is about the website. As usual for S&S, the website is nothing more than a preview of material that is already available for purchase. It looks great, but it has no downloads or anything else even remotely useful to people that have the book (except maybe a link to the S&S boards). Can we get some stuff to use in our campaigns???

@critter:

you're mostly right. there is nt much stuff on the website and that's bad. I think Sword&Sorcery could do much more in this case.

but there is also a free adventure for downloading avaible on the site

btw:
the "Out of the Vaults" Book is fantastic

That's true... I'd forgotten about the adventure, which is nice. I'm looking foreward to Out of the Vaults... whenever Amazon.com gets their stock and ships them I'll have it. As for S&S websites in general... they make me really want to buy their products (which is great, and their intent), but I'd love to see more support, even if they just took some fan-submitted work and made pdfs out of them that looked like real products. I know that they don't have the number of people on staff that Wizards does, so we can't expect too much, but I'd love to see them give us more. Especially character sheets. :D

OKay it doesn't have to be soplenty like the stuff on wotc site, but a few more game stuff or even good erratas would be really nice

Hey Critter80

I can get that book off eBay for only about $15.50 plus a few bucks for shipping. If that interests you, perhaps you should consider canceling your order on Amazon and follow this link:

Hope this helps

I appreciate the help, but I think I'll stick with Amazon, just because it's easier.

hey Critter80

No problem. I forgot that not everyone feels comfortable with using eBay. I find it puts some extra cash in my pocket when people I know want to buy or sell things.

I hope Amazon gets more so you can have one asap.
