Hey out there, just a quick question. Anyone know of any printed sources of the stuff other than in The Return of the Eight module? I thought I read somewhere it was also in the Return to White Plume Mountain module, but I can't find anything. Any help? Thanks in advance.

I used to think it was in RtWPM too, but we must have shared the same dream, Malkeeyas, because it's just not in there....

Oerthblood [ITM]
DRG#294 Pg# - 93
RTO8 Pg# - 2,33,47,48

(Again, quoting Jason Zavoda's index).

Jason is one of the many black sheep that, for whatever reason, left the enclave that was GreyTalk and went on to browner pastures.

He, with the help of some others, put together THE most comprehensive index of GH topics that exists. His name for it is the 'Encyclopedia Greyhawkania', IIRC. He came to this board a few times awhile ago but I'm not sure if he still peruses it.

The index really is a fantastic GH resource. I can't gush about it enough, quite frankly. It took a truly ****-retentive mind to be able to do it as it really is very comprehensive and from what I understand, he keeps it up to date too.

At one point, he had it online for download I believe, but the only way one can get a copy these days is by asking for it from him personally. Which reminds me, my copy is like eight months old and I've noticed in grodog's posts that there seems to be some refinement to the index since then!

If you're lucky, Hell will freeze over and his index will be hosted on Canonfire. But don't count on it

Jason and I have talked about me hosting his index on my web site, but haven't spoken about it since my access was restored. I'll have to ping him again on that. Thanks for the reminder Delg!

Jason's index is here:
http://www.harvestersheroes.com/uploads%5Cjasonzavoda%5CGreyhawkNPC2003.zip

His refusal to have anything to do with Canonfire seems to stem from hard feelings regarding the leadership of the, now sadly almost defunct, Oerth Journal ezine. It's pretty childish and petty antics, I wouldn't bother trying to figure out.

Although I totally appreciate the link, that document is NOT the Encylopedia Greyhawkania. That is another project he is working on/has worked on, that is an index of all NPC's in Greyhawk.

Another fine GH resource to be sure. All praise Jason.

I don't know what the exact story is, however given Jason's devotion to his tasks, as is self-evident in both the Encyclopedia and NPC index, I do wonder if the 'now sadly almost defunct' OJ would've been better off in his hands...

No offense, Tizoc, but if you ain't got the time, maybe you should hand over the reigns...

IIRC, Jason Zavoda's index saw print . . . wait, no, it wasn't the whole index. What I'm thinking of was Zavoda's index for the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer, which was printed in Dragon magazine (pretty sure it was Dragon, as opposed to Dungeon) about a year ago (give or take). Also very helpful, though.

Useful bugger, ain't he?

Perhaps we should honour him with a nickname?

Jason of the Indices :D
