Maybe this should appear on feedback but anyway here goes...

the first monster to appear in the .pdf of the same name is the baazrag and to my :OMG! it has become an 9 feet tall ape like creature related to the Sloth(cousin) lets compare;

3d edition 9 feet tall, large hump on there backs that diminishes when dehydrated, use the knukles of there hands as well as there feet to walk or run large size weighting 600 pounds and according to the image they look ape like. their arms are disproportinatly larger for their bodys and their HANDS doubly so. No shell on their backs

2nd edition In the broken crags and tiny caves.... lives the timid Baazrag, 2 feet long ( could never weight 600 pound) and according to the image here, the creature look like a 4 legged ( must walk or run on all 4 to move kind like animal) In thi version Baazrag have no HANDS and their fore legs are on the contrary seem to small for their body Their haed and backs are covered with shell like armor

The only resemblance would be their fluid storage sacks on their back

even the boneclaw baazrag is just a larger version of its cousin.

I'm not saying the 3e ed Baazrag is wrong but why the hell call it as such espacialy if you want it to be related to the Sloth?? was it a misplaced tag name for the creature???

The Verdant Passage, p.3-4:

When Kalak and Tithian had risen just above the first terrace, they came face-to-face with four hundred pounds of fur and muscle. The hulking baazrag paused in its difficult task of hauling up the bricks. Creasing its sloping brow, it fixed its eyes on the men, then cocked its high-crested head in confusion. As the beast's glance dropped to the empty space beneath the king's feet, its cavernous nostrils flared in alarm and its muzzle fell open, revealing four sharp, yellow canines. The baazrag stepped back and raised its arms in a defensive display. The rope slipped from its hands.

The point is, the error was in DSMC2. Somebody made a mistake. We've just restored the baazrag to its true form.

Yeah, it is indeed the boneclaw (although they come in two sizes - a little widdly guy who is cute to keep as a pet and a slavering psionic mutant that eats everything it sees).
