A whole mob of questions about the gods

Now that I've gotten my questions about the overgod answered, I have a few questions about the gods, both new and old, of Aebrynis!

1) Is the old human pantheon the oldest pantheon of Aebrynis? After all, the dwarves worship Moradin (who obviously came from Toril or Oerth); the same goes for the goblins, and a few other races. So would this make the old human gods the only "native" pantheon?

2) Why is it that the Sidhelin (Cerilian elves) do not worship any gods? If the Sidhelin are an ancient race (as the text seems to indicate), then shouldn't they have at least prayed to Reynir, old god of forests and hunting?

3) Is there any hard data on what the new gods were like before they ascended to godhood? It would certainly be interesting, reading an account of Haelyn's life, before he became the new King of the Gods...

4) Do the gods of Aebrynis need worship, in the same manner of the gods of the Forgotten Realms? It would seem unlikely, as the stated prehistory of Aebrynis (i.e., the struggle of the gods and monsters in prehistoric times) indicates the gods may have gone a long way before they ever had a prayer directed their way.

5) Is there any indication what the 3.5 BR cosmology is like? I can imagine that the Inner Planes look the same as Toril's Inner Planes, but what about it's Outer?

1). To my understanding (limited somewhat, as I choose to interput my way in the end), Moardin of Aebyrnis is not really the same as the Moardin of the others, and the dwarves predate humans, same goes with the Goblins

2). Reynir was a human creation, the Elves are meant to be more like calssical celtic Fae, which means spirtual without a bona-fide relgion. That is why the Elves also don't decrease the source level of the province they rule. Where as the Rjurik (the most nature tuned humans) still do

3). They were human exemplifications of the dety they replaced.

4). Never heard offically, I would say no as the Deity aspect has a tengible and Real manfestation, on the same token this is limited by the way people who serve Regents feel to them, on the other hand, there are many with blood who are not Regents so...

5). Go to www.birthright.net sign up for a name there, first off they have the BRCS (Playtest) verison with 3/3.5E establishment and interuptation of the old BRCS and the forums there actually see more use than this one.

4) The Gods of Cerilia do not need worship to survive, but having worshippers certainly makes them more powerful. If you compare the number of holdings each god has to the relative power of that god, then you find that the most worshipped gods have the greatest power, while the lesser gods are also those with the fewest worshippers.

And also consider Azrai. He was able to battle all of the other gods, and the only way they could stop him was by sacrificing themselves. That would suggest that he was far more powerful than they were, and by Deismaar Azrai was the most worshipped god on Aebrynis.

So I'd say that the number of worshippers does have some effect on the relative power of the god, but they can survive without them if necessary, just not perform as many miracles.

If you consider a god as similar to a blooded scions, then a blooded scion who doesn't rule a kingdom doesn't lose his bloodline or blood abilities, he still has those. However, when he gain a kingdom he becomes even more powerful, and has the ability to increase his bloodline through his actions.
