MidwayHaven

Greetings.

The designers of the Midway Haven Alchemical Observatory are deeply saddened by the Kargatane's decision to close their site, although we wholeheartedly appreciate and applaud them for their devotion to continue Ravenloft as a living world.

Despite this, however, Midway Haven will continue to support Ravenloft and will continue to release original fan-based Ravenloft material. Among these is "Nouvelle Nuit," now avaliable for download at the website, a 30-page netbook which details new feats, spells, prestige classses and more for adventuring in Ravenloft.

In the coming months we also plan to release the following high-quality netbooks:

Children of the Misty Border: a netbook that follows the format of the highly popular CotN series; this features thirteen unique Vistani individuals who travel the Misty byways.

Nostophilia: Worlds of Ravenloft: the third of the "Worlds of Ravenloft" series of netbooks detailing six exotic new domains for the Dread Realms.

Reliquary: Cursed Relics of the Gothic Earth: a netbook detailing thirteen relics of evil power scattered across Gothic Earth, from the Sword of Cortes, to Torquemada's Journals, to the Masks of Ayutthaya.

Nouvelle Nuit Deux: A second netbook based on the Nouvelle Nuit net handbook.

Thank you

Like I already said on the Goat, the Nouvelle Nuit was a sweet piece of work, I really liked how the feats were balanced and some monsters put my imagination going with a really good pace. I also really liked the layout and design since usually netbooks don't look very professional. This one does.

Your dedication deserves respect.

Haven't picked up Nouvelle Nuit yet, but I'm going to now. Looking forward to see it all, and especially the USS!:D

Just finished sciming through it. What an incredible piece of work! I'm afraid I haven't read more than a sampling of the other works on MidwayHaven, exept for Navigaccio, but this is very good.

The feats are all very good, and I especially enjoy the different domain feats. Reminds me of the old Domains of Dread, where you got benefits for coming from different realms. I'm guessing they're inspired by the regional feats from FR? Good idea, nonetheless. Quickened Strike is neat, but could potentially be very powerful. Van Richten's Resolve is also quite potent.

Haven't had time to look at the spells yet. Not my area of expertise anyway...

The prestigeclasses are also great. Immediately, the Immolant, Mortiscient and Twilights Legate are very appealing, and I've already got an idea for an Immolant antagonist...

The Magic weapons are good. Far better than many of those in the RLDMG.

The critters also seem good, I've only examined the Mechalid closer so far, but it is excellent. I love the whole Technology Gone Wrong theme, as evidenced by my Clockwork golem USS-submission last year...
