Nov 07, 2003 17:04:03 Hi Jon. As you surely know by now, I'm about to write a story about a "unique" Rhul-Thaun by the name of Jihun-nish. And since I like to do things as perfect as I can, I would need information concerning the "speed" factors of a few races since in 3.5 ed. they may vary from their previous version. So if you (or any other official from Athas.org) could take a fiew minutes to oblige my request, here are the races and their references.

from Windriders o t JC; Bvanen, Reggelids, Life-shaped;guardians( the 5 of them), Life-shaped;transport(the 4 of them)

I would need they're speed in "squares" but also in Mph3.5ed (for quick distance travel references)

As for the rest, the official conversion guide says to multiply the old movement by 2.5, and round up to the nearest multiple of 10. So a creature with movement 12, that would give 12*2.5 = 30 ft.

MPH: Divide the speed by 10. (So 30ft = 3mph). Maximum number of miles in a day is 8 hours of travel, so 24 miles for a creature with speed 30ft..

[Going by memory here, but I think I've got everything right]
