Hmm. Erm, Flip, you hid the "press release" of the season in a thread which name implies could be about just about anything.

*mumbles something about communication*

As a long time Dark Sun World fan, I must say I'm impressed with this release. Damn fine work here, guys. Actual constructive comments and possible playtest info forthcoming.

Your a bit late for playtesting: this is the final result (imageless)

I wish you all great moments in RPGing in DS 3.5

Ironically, after delaying for well over a year, I finally downloaded and printed out the conversion rules on Friday (the day before the official version was released). Were there many changes? I'd rather not waste all the ink (& time) reprinting the whole thing if it's only superficial changes. Thanks in advance for any info.

In case it matters, the file I downloaded on Friday was the one without pictures.

This looks great but, ...

I really don't want to complain but could we up the font a little bit. My arms are not long enough to read the printed version with out squinting. Just a thought from a really old school player.

Again you guys have done a great thing here.

Muhahahaha! Fear Flip! Silly frog, the asker of date as entered the thread! :fight!:

No, seriouly thanks. It's been a long wished project. Thanks for it's completion. (small though, title like "Armor" should'nt stick in the end of a page, it should have been pushed on the other page with is text, but, of course, it's only nitpick that bug me )

Well I will do the advocate for Heretic apostate. He asked when, I will ask which one is next!

Thanks

And let me be the first who are comming back with feedback -or more appropriately errata- with the document:

-the page breaks are wrong at the end of the 'Equipment' chapter on more pages
-At the cleric class 'Meek of the Land' is written as an available domain for air clerics. In the spells chapter this domain mentions only earth clerics. Needs clarification.

ok Where is the Druid animal companion table?

I know the Monsters are in the works but any idea what monsters might be allowed?

Fantastic!

I never realised that there still so much ongoing active with Dark Sun. I am fillled with joy.
It's been years since I have played Dark Sun, but I still remember the dry nights in the desert.

Thanks to all who made it possible for all to feel it again.

For the last time, Grummore ... I'm not going out with you.

No date for you!

The little bit about doing better formatting and internal art in a future version? Yeah, that includes things like header breaks.

Hrm ... Not sure how that got past though. I'll put that on the list of things to patch up.

The one that gets finished first.

Anyone?..Bueler?...Fry?

I'm not looking for all the specifc details, just a simple 'yes there's a lot that's changed' or 'no, it's basically the same deal with a final touch or two'.

There have been a number of small incremental changes. The sum of small changes is big change, but no individual rules module has been significantly altered. The version you printed out has been up for a while.

Yeah, font size is something that needs to get evaluated, looks like ...

At least, if I want to be nice to the folks who are actaully going to print (gasp Dead Trees?!) this thing.... ;)

Thanks for the info. I'll try to download the final version when I get a chance. At any rate, from what I read on the pre-release, it looks like you guys did a great job. When I was initially looking at bits n' pieces of it online I wasn't too impressed but now that I've seen the bigger picture I've come around.

I'm willing to donate a little sapling to get a hardcopy.

It is a proper sacrifice for Athas...

Yes, they will be updated, but unfortunately I can't give you an estimate on when. I've got a full schedule until Christmas.

I'll update TotDL after Terrors of Athas is done. Then there will be CSoD to update too. And work on Secrets of the Dead Lands.

Congrats to all. Thanks for the hard work, blood, sweat, tears, the selling of your children, the carpal tunnel syndromes, pervaded induced myopia, and all the rest.

Thanks.
