I am also looking for certain DragonLance SAGA products:

1.Heroes of Sorcery
2.Palanthas
3.The Sylvan Veil
4.SAGA Companion
5.The Bestiary

I would appreciate any help you could provide.

Also, if you have, by any chance, a scanned version of some of the aforementioned mterial, I would be very grateful if you would mail it to me. [vatra_ignac@yahoo.com]

You guys should hit eBay some time. You can get them all dirt cheap (and likely all from the same seller).

Thanks. Although I really resent the idea of giving anyone my credit card number. Is it safe?

i think that ebay and amazon is safe, and it is less safe to send money to a nickname.
Bytheway, Palanthas is the supplement that i am realy looking for.
FireGlory: Do you use the Saga system? Or you are interested only in the informations about Krynn. If the first, we could change our experiences.

That would be a copyright violation...

Looks like the SAGA stuff hasn't been converted to PDFs yet, however. So you've got to buy it in print editions.

I certainly hope so. Anyway, I've found quite a lot of the materials I was looking for at the aforementioned e-shops, so I'll probably try to aquire them that way.

[And I wasn't about sending money to anyone, i was hoping for some of the good old fashioned good faith and sympathy. I know I wouldn't charge anyone for an e-mail]

To answer your question, Arkozd, I do use the SAGA system, though I must admit I've altered it a bit to increase playability and realism. I'm looking forward to any exchange of experience(s) with other players, naturally. You have my e-mail.

I thought all of the editions were out of print and that there won't be any more of them. It is not my wish to steal. (and, of course, there ARE PDFs, but wether or not they're legal is another point)

setup a paypal account and use it, completely safe. I used it several times to pay for my ebay wins.

There are a couple in PDF form, but not many. I have Heroes of Defiance and Heroes of Steel in PDF form. Heroes of Sorcery and Heroes of Hope are not available in that form, to my knowledge.

I'm not quite sure where I got those. Maybe from SVGames, maybe somewhere else. And yes, those two are available legally.

You're only as safe as you make yourself.

Ie, if you don't educate yourself of the risks of shopping online, for example with Amazon.com and eBay, or other services such as Paypal (which is owned by eBay and most use it to send/receive money for auctions), then you're more likely to run around with problems.

Quite honestly, fraud is running rampant on eBay, but more so with high profile categories like expensive electronics and such.
(It's also rampant with "spoof" emails from outside sources.)

I've not read/seen any problems though when it comes to gaming stuff, and I've bought a number of books & games on eBay myself.

All you really need to do, if you don't want to give out your cc online, is find a seller who accepts personal checks or money orders.

eBay never requires your cc information unless you sell.

Actually, scratch that bit there.

They require it now, iirc, for anybody that uses a "generic" email account service like Yahoo or MSN.
