Another subject that has been dwelling in the back of my head through-out recent months is something called "The Final Guard." I seem to remember an underwater city or fortress and within it contained a resting place for what was known as "The Final Guard." A group of 12 elite warriors from ancient times past and there was some way you could gain the services of the elite warriors by lifting some curse upon them?

I feel real awkward posting things I have such a slight recollection of, not even knowing if they existed, but if anyone could point me to what I may be referencing it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

i don't have the answer myself but if it really has something to do with water in any way then Aeolious has got to have something on it. He is usaually at Greytalk Thursday night's so look for him their you can get a link from this message board every thursday so things should be fine.

Sounds cool. Another thread I know nothing about but look forward to seeing what pops up.

Reminds me a lot of the Arthurian legend which is really a mish-mash of old Celtic myths.

You might be recalling the Pinnacles of Azor'alq. See James M. Ward, Greyhawk Adventures 89 (1988). If so, then indeed, Aeolius knows a great deal of that "place of mystery."
