I thought people might like to know, now is a good time to pick up the non-essentials at svgames.com.

They have them at 14% off (3.99 instead of 4.74, plus you get a bunch of "synergy bonuses"--an extra 0.12 off if you buy suggested products), if you enter the coupon code they provide.

FYI, it's everything from Dark Sun except:

Dark Sun Campaign Setting
Dark Sun Revised Campaign Setting
Dark Sun Monstrous Compendium
Dark Sun Monstrous Compendium 2
City by the Silt Sea
Defilers and Preservers
Dragon Kings
Earth, Air, Fire and Water
The Will and the Way

(Like I said, the non-essentials...)

I managed to pick up 23 out of the 32 products, for about $92...

Heh, for the cost of the core rule books, you could have more than your share of a cmpaign setting. The whole setting for under $150. Not a bad deal if you ask me

I just bought a bunch of stuff (126 from svgames and 4 from rpgnow, on top of the 20-odd I bought before). Having some trouble with the boxed sets for Dark Sun, getting the "repairing errors" message every time they open; they still open, but I'm going to have to download 'em again and hope they work better.

Gawd, I hope I can pay it all off before my introductory 0% interest offer expires on my credit card!

Check buy/sell/trade used bookstores. I've found books like Rise and Fall in hole-in-the-wall bookstores where people sold off their copies of such books. That's where I found my entire collection of the "V" series books, except the first one, which was a gift. Of course, it took me 5 years to find the next one in the series...

I think Barnes & Noble, the online bookstore, will do book searches for you, as well.

Of course, I have RaFoaDK, but I ain't giving it up...
