Demon
Demons are a race of creatures native to chaotic evil-aligned planes. They are ferocity personified and will attack any creature just for the sheer fun of it-even other demons.
Demon Traits: Most demons possess the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature's entry).

-Immunity to electricity and poison.
-Resistance to acid 10, cold 10, and fire 10.
-Summon (Sp): Many demons share the ability to summon others of their kind (the success chance and type of demon summoned are noted in each monster description). Demons are often reluctant to use this power until in obvious peril or extreme circumstances.
-Telepathy.
Except where otherwise noted, demons speak Abyssal, Celestial, and Draconic.

Hatdemon
A hatdemon is a form of chaos causing, mischief making, annoyance. Designed specifically to spread strife, the hatdemon gains its name through one of its most notorious activities, that of piddling in peoples hats.
Combat
Hatdemons are exceptionally confrontational despite their small size, and given their armour class and damage reduction it's no wonder why. Hatdemons never back down from a fight and are always ready to go a few rounds, even with foes much larger than itself.
Spell-Like Abilities: At will-prestidigitation (DC 11). Caster level 1st. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

Pretty funny.

How about this addition, that when it "marks its territory" in someone's hat, the owner of the hat must make a Will save or be caused to go into a frenzy and attack the nearest target (enemy or ally) for 1 round + a number of rounds by which the DC was missed.

Of course, the "territory marking" should only be done a limited amounts per day. Maybe consider giving the little bugger flight speed (15 ft. also) and the ability to "mark" as a fly-by-attack?

Eric Anondson

Yah, I was going to give it flight speed and invisibility but by that stage, the alcohol was putting me to sleep :D

Emperor Nortons suggests that you lay off the bottle, then you will have greater stamina to combat these demons you speak of...

You forgot the hatdemon's special abilities to offend moderators, annoy fanboys and silence fools with a cunning display of logic and fact :D

That about sums up this whole thread.

Thank you for your insightful opinion.

Amazing how these threads of little interest manage to always get 3 or 4 posts from those who seemingly have better things to do, isn't it?

Might be uneccessary, but it sure is fun. I say keep it going! Long live the Hatdemon!

Thank you. That was exactly the point of posting it. To have a little fun. Then the party-poopers arrived...
