Hold the Line and Shield Wall both look very familiar. Aren't they from published D&D products like Sword & Fist?

Cheers,

Hold the line is the name of a feat from S&F but it is not the same feat. I have changed the name of the feat to remove confusion.

So how do the feats look besides familiar?

Showed them to my players and they went ecstatic. It´s an all minotaur party so they can put the feats to good use.

As far as I´m concerned the hold fast and shield wall feats works fine with Knights as well as minotaurs (KoS and KoN). I like the Horned RUsh and Brute Force because they make the horn attack much more damaging (which it hasn´t been so far in my view).

The horned axe should weigh more considering it requires 18 strength and Large size to handle it...24 pounds isn´t all that much...

Well 24 lbs makes it twice that of a great axe. You also need a high strength not just because of size but weight distribution. Its just so awkward for a non large sized guy to use. TheHorned axe also has a hammer head on one end (fdor fighting the Thenolites skeletons) and a axe head on the other

As for the horned damage as it stands, well I think it is a joke. No one in their right mind would make a charge attack with a horn that does 2d8 damage (with the horned stampede feat) when he has a +3 great sword that doesnt need a feat.

As for why the shield wall and hold fast are Minotaur feats is because even KoS don't march in a shield wall formation but the Romans did and the League of Minotaurs (very Romanesque) do in my world anyway, hehe.

The League of Minotaurs are very Romanesque...but as the description of the feat says it doesn´t require a formation...merely an ally with the same feat...

As for the axe...you do make a good point. I´m still reducing the strengh thing to 16 or 17...a weapon might be unhandy to wield but the average strength is 9-10...The Large Size requirement is fine.

Well the shield wall feat actually does say that it works while in a formation with an ally on your weapon side with that feat but it really doesnt matter since its up to a DM as to what they will allow anyway, hehe

Im glad you like my Minotaur twaekings.:D

Hahaha, well I had the vision of 1000+ Minotaurs marching in formation with there enemies being trudged over when I designed this feat.

shield wall looks pretty similar to the same feat in Green Ronin's dwarf book (Hammer and Helm). Looks good though

Oh, well I dont have any of those types of books, hehe.

I was also thinking that maybe it should provide 80% cover or the such rather than another bonus to AC but I dont know, hehe.
