Children of the Mist

On page 60 of Gazetteer volume 3, under the heading "Appearance", the text states that:

Even more striking are the Mordentish folk who have solid gray eyes; sometimes called "children of the mist" or "children of the wind" by their peers, these folk are reputed to see through mists of all kinds as though they were nothing.

Has anyone translated this text into an actual ability?

If so, how did you define this ability?

Just curious...

I'd say make it a feat that you can only acquired at first level or after having an encounter with a creature of the Mist Subtype.

What about "pircing gaze" from ChoD(The IMHO only wothy feat in it).
