Okay, my brain's starting to hurt.

I'm trying to equip my new character (Minotaur Ranger), and I decided to buy 5 sleep arrows. The problem is with the price. 69 gp and 5 sp per arrow, so 347,5 gp, which is 347,5 stl. So what would that ,5 be? Would it just be 5 silver pieces, or 1 bronze piece, or what? How do I translate standard D&D silver pieces (or copper and platinum pieces) to DL currency?

Any help would be appreciated.

Easy rule of thumb - gold pieces in D&D = steel pieces. Silver pieces in D&D = 2 sp in DL. Since a steel piece is worth 20 silver, and in D&D a gold piece is worth 10 silver, I simply double all the silver piece prices and it matches up.

Cheers,

Okay, so I just bought all the equipment, using standard D&D currency. After buying all my stuff, I had 471 gp and 9 sp left. That equals 471 stl and 18 sp in Krynn, right?

1 GOLD = 1 STEEL

1 SILVER PIECE = 2 SILVER

Come on, dude, Cam wrote it clear as daylight.
