will there be any upcoming information regarding the Circlet of Life and the Ring of Gray?

I'm guessing that the kreen moon priests are using the circlet to mutate themselves but WotJC states that the Ring of Gray is missing from Athas.

I guess i'm also wondering if the concensus is that the reason Rajaat left the kreen alone was because the Rhul had already banished them (because they used to be halflings... right) and would be responsible for keeping them in the savanah?

The Kreen was a race even in the blue age but they were seen merely as primitive giant insects ---and they probably were in that age.---by the Rhulisti(the only intelligent race at the time.)

Now, the only reason why the kreen are in the savanha(99%of them) is the Jagged Cliffs. This could change since the "major" earthquake created a giant rift "cutting" a passage between the Savanha and the Hinterlands.

but if they can't stand the water, where did they live...

They lived on smal islands that dotted Blue Age Athas. The kreen of those days were winged and used flight to move between islands.

I knew they used to dwell on island during the Blue age but I didn't remember the fact that they had wings. Why would a insect loose its wings ... it seem so much an advantage in many ways thus for its very nature to keep them.!!

To me, the best way to come back to the main idea of the thread is to repost the question:D

will there be any upcoming information regarding the Circlet of Life and the Ring of Gray?

That should do it!!

I know, this isn't supposed to be about kreen and all, but . . .

Its mention I believe in the Thri-kreen of Athas book that there are vestigual wing sockets meaning that at some point in time, kreen were flyers (and likely much smaller to be able to fly). Several dozen species of birds in real life lost the power of flight for reasons such as size, weight, plentiful local food, over abundant population, or adaption to environmental changes. So while advantageous, flight isn't as much of a must-have for a species as one would think.

Rajaani???? Did this came out of your imagination or is it a true citadel(of rajaat)???

If it is canon material, where is it mentionned?
And if it did came out of your own mind, do you think you could elaborate on this(or its own) thread???

This is of my own design, I have extensive work that I'm trying to finish for my Dark Sun website. I'm going overseas for a while soon and want to finish it before leaving. I will however, give you much of it prior to leaving. I designed a citadel (laboratory) and city state of Rajaats "centered many miles west of the known regions" where the epicenter of the GR8 Earthquake was caused

You have my total attention. As you may not know, I'm actively working on a project(not official) which consist on writing a fictional story on the every day life of the Rhul-thaun and their surroundings(Jihun-nish is in fact the name of my main character) As we «speak» I'm curentely gathering as much information and ideas for the mentionned story. One thing is for sure, the main character will eventually venture as far as the Koshak mountains in search of a legend which is said to be in Rajaat's main laboratory. your work could come in handy(it would prevent me from creating it myself).

That said, I'm asking you if you'd be interested in joining me (in a not so near future) for that part of the story where I would have your permission to use what you have created(Rajaani) for my novel ?

Feel free to post a reply here or if you prefer, send me a private message. Either way, tell me what you think!

Jihun, Yes you and anyone else has my permission to use any and all of my material for there own personal use for their Athasian campaigns. I'm still in the process of refining these, right now on a limited basis as I'm getting swamped with work and School
