Look at grammar. Look at the words they use. Look at the personality of the posts - how snide, how willing they are or are not willing to concede a point, how polite they are, things like that. Check spelling. Even use of italics or quotes or the like. Now, while Gravedigga could have just been a lurker, if one were to make the assumption that he was not, but instead, was a regular poster to these boards acting under a different alias, well, of those most likely to make Gravedigga's comments, it soon becomes apparent who most likely did it. A touch hypocritical, in light of previous accusations or at least inferences that apparently folk who can recognize that the Kargatane are talented writers are really nothing more than the Kargatane in disguise. Oh well.

At one time I was keeping a list of negative things mangrum said about fans and posting it in response every time he made one of his trademarked rants. I have also had several disagreements with him on the old kargatane message boards. So in the beginning I was sympathetic to your cause, but you know what you are an example of one of life's great rules: There is always a bigger and your it.

There's alot of different options to that, some appropriate other not so. It is seldom you can really label things like this "anyone's fault". It could be considered the 'begining of the end' as every bad product seems to be. As apparently the PHB and CoD are a sigh of the ToUD despite good products like the Gaz, VRGtWD, and the DMG coming out after CoD and more good products seemingly on their way. And with so many other good authors who have been around for year and know the setting and still working there the plans for the line probably aren't too drastic or inapropriate. Otherwise we'd be seeing alot more people leaving. More often than not this kind of thing is the result of a personality conflict and two people who just don't get along.
